Attention, playwright friends!
Fresh Ink is pleased to continue our hit new program from last season: Scribble Sesh!
Scribble Sesh is a monthly-ish event for playwrights where you can gather, relax, network, and write together. These gatherings are extremely low-key and are focused on providing a third-space for writers to generate writing together and find community and peer-mentorship. There’s no need to bring a pre-written project, or even to write a play at all — just show up prepared to scribble about whatever genre project you’re working on and share space with other writers!
Fresh Ink will provide the space, wifi, snacks (homemade baked goodies!), and comfy seating options — all you need to bring is yourself, your writing mode of choice, and the desire to write!
Join us at one (or more!) of these upcoming sessions:
November 10, 1pm - 4pm
December 8, 1pm - 4pm
January 12, 1pm - 4pm
February 2, 1pm - 4pm
March 16, 1pm - 4pm
April 6, 1pm - 4pm
May 18, 1pm - 4pm
June 8, 1pm - 4pm
Come whenever in that block of time suits your fancy! For writers who prefer quiet time, 1:30-3:00pm will be dedicated quiet writing hours, and 3:00-4:00pm will be time where you can solicit feedback from other writers or just generally chit-chat.
All you have to do is fill out a pre-registration form, which will be shared on social media the week before the Sesh. Attendance is free, but donations to keep our snack-supply running are strongly encouraged.
Masks required other than when eating or drinking. Attendance is capped at 20, so pre-registration is mandatory.
See you there!
